The goal of the project is to respond to the skill and recruitment needs of the water sector by increasing the educational offer suitable for continuous learning and its quality. The educational offer of continuous learning combines the strengths of educational institutions of different education levels and begins to build it according to the needs of working life. In the project, the current school supply suitable for continuous learning is mapped and the training needs in the near future are clarified.

The project will also create a training network that offers trainees from different educational levels and backgrounds water sector working life-oriented training. The network is created to promote the dialogue between the parties organizing education, to improve the contents of continuous learning education, to enhance the joint use of materials and to increase practical cooperation between different educational institutions. 

The project is coordinated by Suomen ympäristöopisto SYKLI and partners are Savonia University of Applied Sciences, Finnish Freshwater Foundation and Turku University of Applied Sciences.
