TUAS involved in reforming the Erasmus+ programme

The new funding period of the Erasmus+ programme started in 2014. It continues to develop the cooperation between European higher education institutions and different communities. In addition to promoting mobility of students and teachers, the programme funds several international projects: TUAS alone is involved in eight of these.

TUAS ranked on a list of top sales schools

The sales education of Turku University of Applied Sciences has made a list of top sales schools, published by the US-based Sales Education Foundation. Only 15 schools outside the US were selected on the list.

The awesome Turku International Summer School in August

Register and join in. Turku International Summer School begins with an orientation day on 8 August 2016 and the courses will run – with some exceptions – until 26 August. Participation is free for students from TUAS and the University of Turku.

TUAS becomes principal shareholder of Machine Technology Center Turku Ltd

TUAS Ltd has purchased the majority of the shares of Machine Technology Center Turku Ltd from the City of Turku in a transaction which took place on 6 April 2016. With the transaction, TUAS strengthens the technical innovation university of the future as indicated in its strategy.

TUAS attracted applicants in the joint application of the spring

Altogether 152 000 applicants pursued 50 000 starting places in the joint application of higher education institutions. The application period ended last week. 54% of the applicants chose a UAS as their first study option. TUAS was the third most interesting university of applied sciences in terms of applicants’ first study options.
