Towards circular economy and sustainable growth: Academy of Finland granted extensive funding to a consortium of Finnish universities

The joint project of Finnish universities, “Circular Economy Catalysts: From Innovation to Business Ecosystems” aims to facilitate the transition from linear to circular economy. The project supports Finland’s strategic objective to become a global leader in circular economy by 2025.

TUAS hosted the eMed-PASS project meeting

We had the pleasure to host the eMed-PASS project meeting at TUAS Kupittaa campus. Eight teachers and international coordinators from Estonia (Tartu Health Care College), Latvia (P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia) and Lithuania (Kauno Kolegija University of Applied Sciences) participated in the meeting.

Students say the best part of Turku Summer School was working life oriented learning

Turku Summer School offered students around the world a chance to take different courses, such as the “Smart Sustainable Cities” arranged by Turku University of Applied Sciences. Turku Summer School was arranged by Turku University of Applied Sciences and the University of Turku together with the Study in Turku organization.

Longer opening hours in Lemminkäisenkatu campus library started August 27th 2018

Lemminkäisenkatu campus library have had longer opening hours from the beginning of the fall term. Starting August 27th 2018 the library has been open for self-service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Significant EU funding for renewing sales education at Indonesian and Thai universities

The sales education at higher education institutions in Indonesia and Thailand will be developed with the help of a joint European project. The project coordinated by Turku University of Applied Sciences received EUR 1M funding from the EU Erasmus+ programme for education development.
