Universities of applied sciences: Sustainable development skills for everyone

Finnish universities of applied sciences have approved a joint programme for sustainable development and responsibility based on the Sustainable Development Goals that the UN accepted in 2015. The goal of the programme is a sustainable, responsible and carbon-neutral university of applied sciences by 2030.

Turku UAS’ alumni can attend Open Studies free of charge

Turku University of Applied Sciences wants to support the continuous learning of their alumni by opening for them the right to complete Open Studies free of charge from 1 January 2021.

The joint application results of autumn 2020 available

The results of the admissions through joint application in autumn 2020 have been published for Turku UAS. All UAS’ results are published by 27 November at the latest.

Diving into another culture with the double degree

Alina Venermo was the first to complete a double degree at Turku UAS’ cooperation partner ESTA, which is a private university in France. A double degree provides two certificates, from two different higher education institutions.

Turku University of Applied Sciences wants to be a pioneer in promoting carbon neutrality. Offsetting travel emissions will start in 2021. Turku UAS’ own goal is to be carbon neutral already by 2025.
