European Sales Competition with its coaching enables getting a job

In the annual European Sales Competition held on 17–19th November 2021, Sjoerd Smeltink negotiated themselves as the winner. According to the judge in the final, Harri Lappalainen, the final was very tight, and the level was tough.

A leap to the Horizon – How did we manage?

In November 2017, Anita Narbro took a great leap towards something new and exciting. For the very first time, Turku University of Applied Sciences was about to coordinate a Horizon 2020 project, one that was also described as the best proposal in its application round of the highly competed funding programme.

Viudetta Oy and Turku University of Applied Sciences co-developed a technology that facilitates nursing

Bidet manufacturer Viudetta Oy has piloted a new type of sensor technology combined with a washing and drying toilet bidet in cooperation with Turku University of Applied Sciences' Health Tech Lab and Kunnonkoti. The results of the pilot can be used in the development of software used by nursing homes and home care staff.

Probably the most international sales competition between higher education institutions in the world, European Sales Competition 2021, will be organized virtually on the Finnish Tavata platform in mid-November. The participants include sales students from across Europe.

The first double degree students from Aalen completed their degrees in Turku

Daniel Wieland and Nikolaos Papadopolous from Germany have always been interested in foreign cultures and people. Their interest eventually led to a double degree: the first degree they completed in Germany at the Hochschule Aalen and the second at Turku University of Applied Sciences, as the first students from Aalen.
