CARPE Conference in Turku 18.-20.5.2015

The biannual conference of the CARPE consortium is organized in Turku 18th-20th May 2015. The theme of the conference is Towards Successful European Societies: The Social and Economic Significance of Universities of Applied Sciences.

The CARPE network consists of six European universities, who aim to increase collaboration in European research programmes and to develop joint study programmes.

There will be over 200 participants from the CARPE partner universities attending the conference. 

The programme consists of nearly 70 thematic sessions, in which the participants discuss about new collaboration possibilities. In addition to the official programme, there will be for example a fire show by the river Aura, performed by TUAS Arts Academy students.


CARPE (Consortium on Applied Research and Professional Education) has six partners:  Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Polytechnic University Valencia, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Debrecen and Turku University of Applied Sciences.
